Vatos Tacos has been in business since 2015, it all began with a dream from Cesar Soto
To share his love of tacos and Mexican food in general. Working in Kern County Oil Fields for 13 years
Cesar had a downfall when he was laid off. This prompted the idea to start a unique Mexican food experience wth a baja California twist for Kern County. Cesar Soto and his wife Adriana Malta would start catering for Kern County residents, using a small catering mobile cart. Cesar soto and Adrian Malta would soon buy a Taco Truck become a Kern County favorite. It was not soon after that Vatos Tacos would become so requested that a restaurant would soon be a place to call home.
Coming from parents born in Guanajuato and Guadalajara, Cesar decided to create a menu with ingredients from both regions of Mexico as well as a twist of Baja California, and Vatos Tacos was born.
Vatos Tacos quickly became a favorite place for many Kern County Residents, as a place to enjoy amazing Mexican food and a warm inviting environment.
Vatos Tacos enjoys serving Kern County with fresh Mexican food and unique drinks like Aguas Fresca which include Watermelon, Cucumber, Horchata and Jaimaca to name a few.
Cesar Soto and his family continue living the dream of providing the best Mexican Food Possible every day. With ongoing and continued growth of customers each and every day, Vatos Tacos continues to bring the joy of great Mexican food to more and more Residents of Kern County, allowing the dream of Cesar Soto to become a reality.
